My premium bath salts are an affordable luxury. You can enjoy the benefits of an expensive spa treatment in the privacy of your home.

Ingredients: Sea Salt, Epsom Salt, Himalayan Pink Salt, Organic Goat Milk Powder, Kokum Butter, Dendritic Salt, Fragrance or Essential Oils.

Directions for use: Add 4 ounces of salts directly to running warm bath water. As tempting as it may be to do a hot soak, making your bath too hot will cause your pores to close up and so decease the therapeutic value of your salts.

About the Salts:

Sea Salt traditionally has been used to promote healthy skin and while you bathe, it works to detoxify your skin, purging impurities, dirt, and pollutants from your pores working to make your skin less susceptible to sensitivities.. In addition, Dead Sea salt can help support healthy circulation.

Himalayan Salt contains the same 84 trace minerals and elements that are found in the human body. Each grain of Himalayan salt releases minerals and nutrients that historically improve the condition and health of your skin and provide relief for skin issues and worrisome bug bites. Also Himalayan works to support healthy joints, ligaments and muscles and supports the reproductive system during discomfort.

Epsom Salt- the health benefits from the magnesium and sulfate in Epsom salt include easing sore muscles, improving sleep, and supporting the immune system.

Dendritic Salt has a greater surface area than other salts which means the fragrance (or essential oils) and color sticks better.

About my Goat Milk:

Goat milk is particularly moisturizing and nourishing to the skin because of capric-caprylic triglyceride. Capric-caprylic triglyceride is an effective skin moisturizer that helps to contribute to skin softness by forming a barrier on the skin to help inhibit the loss of moisture. It is the only milk that contains naturally occurring capric-caprylic triglycerides.

The protein strands of goat milk are shorter than other types of milk and are more readily absorbed by skin.

Goat milk also has naturally occurring lactic acid that helps keep skin smooth by encouraging skin turnover (it acts similar to a gentle peel). It also contains many vitamins, specifically A, D and B6, as well as the anti-oxidant Selenium.

The goat milk I use is made by happy goats that are never fed anything genetically modified or containing animal bi-products and they are raised on farms that do not use any sprays, insecticides, or pesticides. The goat milk is whole and pasteurized and has no BGH( growth hormones), antibiotics, or preservatives.

About Kokum:

Kokum butter remains in a solid state at room temperature, but melts immediately on contact with the skin. It is more emollient than most butters, widely believed to possess natural healing properties, and has a uniform triglyceride composition and supports regeneration of healthy skin.

For Soap:

Soap is for external use only. Keep out of eyes. This is a handmade product, to maximize your enjoyment and the longevity of your bar, keep bar dry between uses, a draining soap dish works best. If wanting to put it away, please allow soap to dry thoroughly and then store in a cool dry container away from bright light.

For Washcloths:

After use, squeeze gently to get rid of excess water, hang or spread flat to dry. To launder, wash with like colors (cold or warm water), do not bleach, and lay flat or hang to dry.

For Sponges:

Soak a cleaning or bathing sea sponge for 15 minutes every few weeks in 1 cup of warm water and 1 Tablespoon of baking soda (increase solution accordingly for large sponges). Then rinse and let dry (preferably in a hanging, breathable mesh bag). In addition to thoroughly cleaning the sponge, baking soda revitalizes its cellular structure for increased durability.

Allow sponges to dry completely after each use.

Sea sponges naturally inhibit the growth of bacteria, but do not prevent it.  To disinfect your sponge, you can also soak it in:

  • 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide and 1 cup of water.  This will clean and re-bleach the sponge if it becomes discolored from use.
  • A few drops of tea tree essential oil in 1 cup of warm water.  Tea tree essential oil is a very effective germicide and will also eliminate any odor on your sponge.
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar or white vinegar in 1 cup of warm water.
  • 1 teaspoon colloidal silver in 1 cup of warm water.  There is no pathogenic organism known that is not killed by colloidal silver in 6 minutes or less.

Never place a sea sponge in boiling water, microwave, or dryer.  This will harden your sponge.  Never use strong bleach.  This will weaken your sponge.  Squeeze but do not twist or pull your sponge.

If a sponge starts to become ragged, use scissors to trim off the loose pieces rather than pulling them off.  Trimming the sponge to keep it smooth will enable you to get more use out of it.
